The Muddiest Dog...Ever

Last week and through the weekend, it rained pretty much everyday.  As mentioned in a previous post, we puppy sat my parents' Labradoodle, Gus while they were on vacation.  Let me tell you...that dog enjoys his mud!  Saturday afternoon Trey caught him in the act of digging a giant hole next to our deck.  When he emerged, this is what he looked like....

He just looks like he knows he did wrong!  Ha!  Trey gave him a bath that evening.  He said he ran water through his fur for a solid 3 minutes before it finally began to run semi-clear!  After his marathon bath, he didn't chance digging anymore holes or digging anymore from this hole...

You could tell how into his digging he was because mud was thrown everywhere!  Such a funny dog.  It's been awful quiet around here without him this week!  Mom and Dad, give my little Gus a hug and tell him that his sis misses him!
