Potty!!!

Lots has been going on in the world of potty training with our sweet big boy!  He has done so well and we are so proud of him!!!  On July 1 he made big strides by going poop in the potty!!!  He had been promised a Jessie from Toy Story if he would just go potty...so, when he finally went, he got his toy!

He was so very proud of himself for going potty like a big boy.  It has been a L-O-N-G couple of months, but I think we've finally found our groove!  It wasn't all smooth sailing after his first poop.  He didn't go again for a while!  So, we've tried different methods of bribery (including a "poop prize" bag--he got a small little prize every time he went) and finally discovered that stickers work best.  He has a chart and every time he goes, he gets a sticker on his chart.  Once the chart fills up, he gets a toy that he's been wanting.  It took him an entire month to earn Slinky from Toy Story (his chart has 30 squares).  And, now he's working towards earning Bullseye.  Still cheaper than diapers! :)  I know this is a lot of TMI for most of you, but this is our record keeping!  I need to keep this all in mind when potty time comes around for Mason!
