He really wasn't looking at me the whole time--but what can I say? Everytime that camera comes out, he looks over and cheeses!!!Tuesday night, Stephanie and Corbin and Ashley and Kelsi came over to visit as well! Corbin was quite the entertainment for Colin because he's a big kid. Colin couldn't peel his eyes off of whatever Corbin was doing! So cute! I think he fell in love with Kelsi though. He wanted to give her hugs and would just grin at her! Love it!
The whole crew! Stephanie holding Colin, Corbin, Ashley, and KelsiSo glad they came over--it's been ages since I've seen them, and it was SO nice to visit and see their sweet kiddos.
Wednesday we headed back to Perryville for more family time. My Aunt Pat came to visit as did Scotty and Great Papaw (GP). It's always good to see my family, and hopefully I'll get to do some more of it before long!! Colin loves his Aunt Pat--he reaches for her every time she's around (and she doesn't eat that up at all...)!
We caught a quick smile--the nap situation was kind of non-existent this day...so we were a little fussy.Thursday morning it was time to head back up to NWA, and boy were we glad to go back home! But, before hitting the road, we had a special visit from Papaw (or GP to Colin).
It was great to visit with family and be gone for a while...but, it's even better to be home! We missed Trey so much (what an amazing husband I have that doesn't mind us to be gone for a few days!) and are so happy to be back. We surprised him as soon as we got back in town with a visit to his office--Colin's whole little face lit up with joy when he saw his Daddy! That'll melt your heart!
So, now that Colin's 7 months, what's he up to? He sits up very well and actually prefers to sit up when he can. He doesn't mind tummy time as much anymore and is desperately trying to figure out how to crawl. He can kind of do a little army scoot thing across the floor, but hasn't figured out how to go far with that yet--just a few inches. He loves to stand up (supported, of course), and still loves to jump and bounce. He eats a ton! He eats anywhere from 33-44 ounces of formula a day, cereal twice a day (to beef him up a little), and pureed baby food (we've almost tried all foods, we'll soon be mixing them to make real meals!). He takes 2 good naps during the day, and sleeps pretty well at night, he just gets up once a night usually. He is still such a happy baby and Trey and I feel so blessed.
Have a great rest of the weekend! Hugs and kisses from the Carter's!
