We started the weekend by visiting a sweet friend of mine from high school who had a baby just a couple months back. Her sweet baby, GG, is just precious and such a little snuggle bug!
Saturday we headed down to Pine Bluff for Papaw Owen's big birthday party and we all had so much fun! Colin played until he just tuckered himself out. He hugged and kissed on his fellow baby cousins and had fun playing with everybody. We don't all get together often enough I think.
Colin and Boppy playing outside
Papaw had to bribe Colin with cheese puffs because he was acting like such a stinker!
Memaw, Papaw, and most of the great grand-babies. Bless their hearts, none were wanting to sit still. But, Colin was the absolute worst. I chose this pic out of about 10 because this is the only one that doesn't show him screaming his head off. Note that his head is faced the totally other way...
Sunday was G.P.'s (Mom's Dad) birthday celebration at Aunt P's. I didn't take many pics because Colin got hot and tired which is a nasty combination. We had fun celebrating though and did take Papaw to eat catfish a little earlier that week...again with no pictures.
I just love this picture. Pappy is Colin's best bud, and Colin wants to be around him 24/7. He loves to ride on the tractor and the mule and visit the cows! He loves to visit the farm and play outside with his Pappy!!!
On a side note, please keep both our Papaws in your prayers. Trey's Papaw hasn't been feeling quite up to snuff lately, and his medicine has been causing some unpleasant (to say the very least) and troubling side effects. My Papaw has always had a problem with corroded arteries, but it seems that it's now gone past the point of no return. He's got over 50% blockage, with no way to repair. This is a very tough time for my whole family, and I'm most worried about my Mom and Aunt. Please pray for peace during this difficult chapter in our lives.
