Colin and I went on a date last night and had so much fun!!! I don't often get time with just Colin, so it was so nice to be able to focus on him and play with him without any distraction.
We went to Build-A-Bear first and got a Superman outfit for Bear. He has been saving a gift certificate since Christmas--waiting until he found just the right thing. We've been in a few times since Christmas--and he even said he wanted to wait when he found out they were releasing a Superman outfit!! So proud of him and his good choices.
Then, we went to Chuck E. Cheese to eat pizza and play games. We were there over two hours and it honestly didn't seem that long. He was so excited and concentrated so hard playing the games. He even wanted to spend one of his tokens so we could sit in the photo booth and get our picture made.
Then we went to eat some frozen yogurt at TCBY where he got to pick whatever flavor he wanted and put whatever topping he wanted. He chose chocolate with "sparkles" and M&M's. I look forward to Mason getting big enough to do fun things like this too!
